The state being the state in the third world

politicians already know but if not, I would really like this post to reach Honduras, banning Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is a measure that goes against libertarian principles and could have negative consequences for the country’s economy and society

I also know that politicians are not libertarian by nature and that they avoid this ideology at all costs, especially in third world countries, where they always seek to restrict the individual freedom of citizens to choose how they want to store and transfer their value, which always harms innovation and economic development, as blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize many sectors.
Overall, it’s business as usual, the ban will only increase economic inequality, denying people without access to traditional banking and similar services an important tool for improving their financial situation. The ban on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in Honduras is a measure that goes against libertarian principles and will have negative consequences for the country’s economy and society, but the supposed “state leaders” already know what they are always looking for is just to have control over the people as it always was and as it always will be!!
