There has been some confusion in the past surrounding how to buy KNS. A benefit of being on Arbitrum is low fees, however in order to trade assets on arbitrum you need to bridge the asset you want to trade KNS for. Usually this is ETH, but it could be any other asset. In this guide I will tell you how to buy KNS on the cross chain exchange, DLN.
First, visit app.dln.trade
The website should look like this.
From here, you are going to want to connect your wallet as you would with any other decentralized exchange.
Once you have accomplished this, you can choose your input currency. In spite of the fact KNS is only able to be traded on Arbitrum, DLN allows you to buy KNS using virtually every supported asset. First select the chain of the asset you want to trade, then the asset you wish to trade.
After you have decided what currency you want to buy KNS with, you can add KNS to your output currency. This is easy to do, just navigate to Arbitrum and paste the token contract into the field.
You can now initiate your transaction and get your KNS. Here are some important things to consider:
- ETH gas fees still apply but are reduced
- You can sell KNS on ARB for ETH on ETH IMMEDIATELY without waiting like you would using the arbitrum bridge
- You can use this exchange to bridge your ETH on ETH for ETH on ARB
